Tucked away in Belgravia is the four time winner of Best British Chocolatier award, William Curley. William and Suzue Curley's credentials speak for themselves. William perfected his refined patissier craft working in Michelin starred establishments with Pierre Koffman, Marco Pierre White, Raymond Blanc and Anton Edelman and Suzue is renown for having hosted the legendary afternoon teas in London's Savoy hotel.
Quite often we take a sharp detour to visit the boutique on Ebury Street to grab an indulgent hot chocolate in the Winter, or in the summer for one of their divine ice creams or on the weekend to enjoy the absolutely incredible dessert bar or about three o'clock on a Wednesday to grab some biscuits for tea. You get the idea!
Upon returning laden with my loot, I went to eggstra-ordinary lengths to float this badboy on water for the photograph above. Naturally I also had to carry out the demanding job of quality control, so I took a hammer to it and found no shortage of willing volunteers to join me in my delicious assessment.
